
Hammer anchors are anchors that are set by using a hammer to expand them or to insert them into a pre-drilled hole in the base material of concrete, brick or block. Most hammer anchors are for use in solid concrete and cannot be used in brick or block. Hammer anchors range in size from 1/4” diameter up to 3/4”, and can be used in light duty or heave duty applications. All hammer drive anchors are male type and come in zinc plated carbon steel, stainless steel.

Installation
- Drill a hole to the recommended diameter and depth using the fixture as a template. Remove the debris with a hand pump, compressed air, or vacuum with a wire brush, compressed air and vacuum, clean the hole of all debris and dust
- Align the hole in the fixture over the hole drilled in the base material
- Insert hammer drive anchor through hole in fixture and into hole in the base material
- Make sure that the head of the hammer drive anchor is tight against the fixture, and then strike the nail with a hammer until the expansion nail is flush with the head of the hammer drive
